Supporting the Next Generation Through Youth Up Front
As part of our commitment to supporting the local community, we are proud to partner with Youth Up Front, a registered Australian charity that has been helping young people transition successfully from school to adulthood for more than 20 years.
Through education, mentoring, workplace learning and personal development programs, Youth Up Front has supported more than 100,000 students to build confidence, develop resilience, and make informed decisions about their future.
Working closely with schools and local businesses, Youth Up Front provides students with real-world experiences that help them:
- Build confidence and self-belief
- Develop workplace and communication skills
- Explore career pathways and industries
- Present themselves professionally
- Develop empathy, resilience and personal growth
- Make informed education and career choices
One of the most impactful ways local businesses can help is by hosting a student for a work placement. These placements provide valuable workplace experience and are often a mandatory requirement for students completing their HSC. Students are fully insured through Youth Up Front and are unpaid during their placement.
